Strap Vandas

Vanda orchids which are also Monopodial (grow Vertically) are a genus of epiphytic orchids from tropical and subtropical Asia. They are commonly grown either in hanging baskets or mounted on pieces of driftwood or tree fern (Balabala). Vanda orchids require bright, indirect light and prefer high humidity. They are also very demanding in terms of their water and fertilizer needs. They are known for their bright, showy colors and large long-lasting blooms.
