Crush metal (gravel) Approximately 20mm pieces of blasted rock that is jagged. Try not to mix this up with river gravel. This media holds almost no water and has large aerated spaces. Perfect for true epiphytic plants like orchids! This is also very useful during the wet summer months when there are heavy afternoon thunderstorms every day.
